James S.W. Avery

James S. W. Avery, age 75 of Yardley, PA passed away on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, Langhorne, PA.  Born in Needham, MA, Mr. Avery lived in Lower Makefield Township for the past 34 years.

A television news producer, Jamie worked at Fox News, as well as CBS, CNBC, CNN and several local affiliates over his 60-year career.  Jamie enjoyed following politics and was an avid sports fan, rooting on his favorite teams - the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Son of the late James and Beverly (Winchell) Avery, he is survived by his loving wife Lisa (Greenberg) Avery, two sons Brian E. Avery of Mt. Joy, PA and Matthew S. Avery of Jacksonville, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held at a later date.
