Betty was not just a resident; she was a steadfast fixture in the neighborhood, dedicating over 35 years of her life to the Oxford Valley Mall as a devoted custodian. Her work ethic and commitment to her job were only overshadowed by her warmth and kindness towards those she encountered. She took great pride in creating a welcoming environment for everyone who visited the mall, making her a beloved presence in the area.

A person of artistic spirit, Betty found solace and joy in her hobbies. With paintbrush in hand, she transformed blank canvases into vibrant expressions of her inner world. She immersed herself in arts and crafts, allowing her creativity to flourish. Her knitting and embroidery skills were legendary among family and friends, each stitch a testimony to her patience and love. Betty’s creations were gifts from her heart, cherished by those lucky enough to receive them.

Her legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted family. She is survived by her sons, Harold, Jr. and his wife Suzi Shipp, and Harry Shipp, as well as her daughter Cynthia and son-in-law David DeLorenzo. Betty also leaves behind her beloved sister, Evelyn Pilotti, her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Terri Neumann, and her brother John Neumann. Her family expands joyfully with seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild, whose lives she enriched immeasurably. The numerous nieces and nephews who remember her fondly will carry her spirit forward.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas Disler and Helen Pagels Disler, who instilled in her the values that shaped her life. Their guidance and love resonated through her actions, creating ripples of kindness that reached far beyond her years.
