Harry J. Hughes

Harry J. Hughes, age 73, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his home.  Born in Jacksonville, Mississippi, Harry was a lifelong Morrisville resident.

Harry taught at Bache Martin School in Philadelphia for over 30 years   He was a graduate of Morrisville High School and Ursinus College with a degree in Economics.  He loved history and was a Biblical scholar and an avid reader, as well as a member of Historic Summerseat and Quality Responsible Education.

Son of the late Harry James and Virginia R. (Margerum) Hughes, he is survived by three sisters, Carol, Diane, and Sharon Hughes, all of Morrisville, as well as several cousins and good friends.

His services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
