Gilbert Deel, born on March 4, 1935, in Grundy, Virginia, passed away on June 10, 2026, in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. Throughout his life, Gilbert exhibited a steadfast dedication to both his profession and his passions, leaving behind a legacy marked by commitment and enthusiasm.

Before his retirement, Gilbert built a respected career as a machinist and toolmaker. He was employed by Yardley Products in Yardley, Pennsylvania, as well as Striker Machine in Trenton, New Jersey, where his skills and work ethic were highly regarded. His professional life was characterized by precision and reliability, traits that defined his contributions to the manufacturing industry.

Gilbert resided in Yardley, Pennsylvania, for 24 years before relocating to Fairless Hills in 1993. He remained active in the community and maintained a strong connection to his interests and affiliations. A notable member of the American Motorcycle Association for over six decades, Gilbert’s passion for motorcycles was a significant aspect of his identity. Additionally, he was an avid hunter and gun collector, pursuits that reflected his appreciation for the outdoors and craftsmanship.

Gilbert is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gary W. and Patricia Deel; his grandson and spouse, Gary Lee and Jackie Deel; and two great-grandchildren, Carl and Fitzgerald Deel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mossie Lee Deel, and his parents, Charles Hopkins Deel and Grace Clevenger Deel.

Throughout his life, Gilbert Deel exemplified dedication to his work, his family, and his interests. His professional accomplishments and personal passions remain a testament to his character and commitment. He will be remembered with respect and admiration by those who knew him.

He will be laid to rest in the family plot in Virginia.
