George J. Haigh

George J. Haigh, age 89, of Levittown, PA, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol Township, PA.  Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Haigh had lived in Lower Bucks County for over 60 years.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a technician and supervisor with General Electric in Philadelphia for over 35 years.  In his later years, he worked for the Bristol Township Police Department as a crossing guard.  He was a member of VFW Post # 6495 and American Legion Post # 960.  George enjoyed fishing and was a baseball and football enthusiast.

Son of the late George and Clair (Gianetti) Haigh, he is survived by his wife Helene P. (Schuler) Haigh, three sons and two daughters-in-law Michael and Karen Haigh of Long Neck, DE, George and Barbara Haigh of Burlington, NJ, and Alan Haigh and girlfriend Kristy Johnson of Levittown.  He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a great great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12 Noon on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.  His interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

Friends may visit the family Wednesday morning from 11 AM until 12 Noon at the funeral Chapel.
