Frederick Bartholomew John Morrison

Frederick Bartholomew John Morrison, age 78 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Born in Trenton, NJ, Frederick lived in Ewing Township, NJ for many years before moving to Morrisville 37 years ago.

Mr. Morrison was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville and earned his Bachelor degree from the University of Scranton. He revered the Jesuit philosophy and education that he received there. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a Tactical Investigator for the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade in Maryland for 13 1/2 years. This position allowed him to travel extensively, where he lived in England 3 years. Frederick was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Scranton, attaining the level of 3rd degree. Mr. Morrison was also active with the Falls Township Senior Center. He enjoyed playing sports such as baseball, basketball, bowling and especially golf. He was also fond of horseracing. Frederick was an avid reader, regularly devouring any nearby newspaper. He loved participating in trivia contests and belonged to a trivia group. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Son of the late Vincent Theodore and Kathleen (Wooley) Morrison and brother of the late Robert and Richard Morrison, he is survived by his loving wife Kathryn M. (Hludzinski) Morrison, a brother Gerard Morrison of Dahlonega, GA, two sisters-in-law Joyce and Judith Morrison, a brother-in-law William (Alexandra) Hludzinski and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. 

Friends may call on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
