Eleanor Dorothy Marczak (stanton)

Eleanor Dorothy (Stanton) Marczak, age 83, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was born in Fieldsboro, NJ. Eleanor was raised on a farm in Columbus, NJ, where she met her future husband Thomas. Thomas and Eleanor were married on October 2, 1953. Shortly after, they moved to Morrisville where Eleanor was a resident for 60 years.Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an office clerk in the accounts payable department of Goodall Rubber Company in Trenton, NJ for 35 years. Eleanor was a 60 year member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville, PA. She joined the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knowles Doyle American Legion Post # 317, Yardley, in 1997, and served as President for 6 years. Eleanor was a co-op member of Fallsington Antique and Craft Shop in Fallsington, PA. She also enjoyed ceramics, tatting and floral arranging.Daughter of the late George Patrick and Elizabeth Emily (Mattey) Stanton, and beloved wife of 48 years of the late Thomas B. Marczak, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diana L. and Joseph M. Friscia of Fairless Hills, PA, a sister Anne J. Price of Bordentown, NJ, two grandsons Daniel H. and Michael I. Friscia, and one nephew Robert J. Price.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 10 AM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.Friends may call Thursday evening from 7-9 PM, and on Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.
