Edward Alexander McLeod, Jr.

January 2, 1964 — August 13, 2025

Yardley, PA

Edward Alexander McLeod, Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. Born on January 2, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Edward was a man whose zest for life was evident to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He spent his early years in and around Philadelphia, and later embraced the serene lifestyle of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, where he resided for 24 years before moving to Yardley five years ago.

As a dedicated electrical engineer, Edward dedicated over 15 years of his professional life to FBM Baking Machines in Cranbury, New Jersey. His colleagues admired not just his technical prowess, but also his warm spirit that made every workday brighter. Yet, Edward's talents extended well beyond his professional endeavors. An accomplished drummer, he poured his heart and soul into music, playing alongside various bands, including the well-known “Moxley” and, most recently, “One Shot From Hell.” Those who shared the stage with him can attest to the joy, technical expertise, and energy he brought to every performance - a rhythm that resonated deeply with many.

Edward was a devoted family man, and his love for his grandchildren was boundless. He cherished every moment spent with Lee Edward, Sloane Eleanor, and Isla Rose, creating memories that will be etched in the hearts of those little ones forever. His legacy lives on through them, reminding the family of the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.

In addition to his commitment to family, Edward found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid saltwater fisherman and former Hartville Fishing Club member, he relished fishing trips to Point Pleasant and Manasquan, New Jersey, where he created unforgettable memories on the water. An avid gardener, he was well-known for his incredible tomato plants, which flourished under his care, much like the relationships he nurtured throughout his life. Edward also had a profound love for animals and wildlife, a passion that was clear to anyone lucky enough to share a conversation with him.

Edward is lovingly survived by his wife and devoted partner of 44 years, Michele A. McLeod, who was the love of his life; his mother, Catherine Toth McLeod; and his children Jourdan and Samantha McLeod, Brittany and Michael Kane, and Wyett McLeod, who will carry forward his spirit and charm. He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Marbach, along with several nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory dear.

As we remember Edward Alexander McLeod, Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived - marked by dedication, love, joy, and an enduring passion for the people and experiences that enriched his journey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire laughter and warmth in the hearts of those he left behind.

It is also to be acknowledged that Edward gave the selfless gift of life through organ and tissue donation through the help of the NJ Sharing Network.

His services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
