Edith Joan Oliver, age 79, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Brookdale of Northampton, Richboro, PA. Born in Trenton, she had been a lifelong Fallsington/Morrisville resident.
Prior to her retirement, Edith had been employed with Mercer Medical Center for over 35 years. She enjoyed bowling at Delmor Lanes and was an avid Phillies fan. She was a member of Fallsington United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir. Mrs. Oliver loved playing cards with family and friends, and watching her grandkids play baseball.
Daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Mershon) Bowman, wife of the late Richard Oliver, and sister of the late Howard, William, and Ronald Bowman and Doris Leedom, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon and William Pileggi of Morrisville and Gail Wootten of Middletown, DE, a brother Charles Bowman of Conway, SC,, two sisters and a brother-in-law Peggy Bruce of Perkasie, PA and Beverly and Richard Rusay of Morrisville, two grandchildren Luke and Connor Wootten, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 Lacrosse St., Fallsington, PA 19054. The Rev. Joseph Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
Friends may call Monday from 10-11 AM at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
