Doris 'Evdokia' (Nimczuk) Holowczak

Doris 'Evdokia' Holowczak, 85, of Morrisville PA, passed away peaceful at home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

Mrs. Holowczak, beloved wife of the late Mykola, lived a very fulfilling life, was proud to care for her family and always enjoyed time with loved ones, going out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed in her company. Although she fought valiantly, she succumbed to a very recent lung cancer diagnosis.

Mrs. Holowczak was predeceased by her parents, Stephan Nimczuk and Maria Nimczuk and her siblings, Mykola Myroniak and Roman Hodowanec.

She is survived by her children, Marko Holowczak of Knoxville, TN, Daria Holowczak of Trenton, NJ, Lesia and David Horowitz of Yardley, PA, Kathryn and Joseph Graf of Yardley, PA, Michael and Oksana Holowczak of Morrisville, PA, and Myron Holowczak of Morrisville, PA, her siblings: John Nimczuk of Philadelphia, PA, Sonia Konrad (Ihor) of Philadelphia, PA, and Paul Hodowanec (Diane). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ava, Alexander and Michael Horowitz, and Matthew and Emma Holowczak, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members both here in the US and Ukraine.

Funeral services, under the direction of Fletcher Nashevich, will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 West Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, PA, 19067.

Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1195 Deutz Avenue, Hamilton, NJ. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Jenkintown, PA.

Relatives and friends may share their condolences with the family on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, with Parastas  celebrated at 7 p.m.
