Doris Mae Dominic, a beloved Avon representative and cherished family matriarch, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. Born on September 23, 1929, in Barnesville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, Doris was a vibrant spirit who dedicated her life to family, friends, and her career for an impressive 45 years.

As a devoted Avon representative, Doris not only excelled in her career but built lasting relationships within her community. Her warm personality and unwavering dedication to her work made her a beloved figure among her clients, many of whom became friends over the years. Doris found joy in connecting with others, reflecting her natural flair for nurturing bonds and extending kindness.

Doris was a proud member of the Fairless Hills Does, an organization she devoted her time to, adding to her legacy of community service and connection. Her passions went beyond her professional life; she had a love for cooking and baking that brought her family together around the dinner table. Those who had the pleasure of indulging in her culinary creations fondly remember the deliciousness she brought to life through her cooking. Doris was a longtime parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville.

Her heart belonged especially to her family, which included her daughter, Nancy Poinsett of Lower Makefield, PA, and son-in-law, Keith Poinsett. Doris will be deeply missed by her family, as well as the memories of her late husband, Anthony Joseph Dominic, her son, John Dominic, and her parents, Elmer Brode and Lillian Deeble Brode. Each relationship she nurtured with her gentle spirit left an indelible mark on those who loved her.

Above all, Doris cherished her time spent traveling and creating cherished memories with her grandchildren Lindsey Poinsett (Matt), Kristen Leikin (Ryan) and Lauren Granados (Nick) and great grandchildren Steven Waldin and Emma Leikin. Her heart brimmed with pride and affection for them, and she often spoke of the joy they brought into her life. Doris was a remarkable woman whose legacy of love, warmth, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
