Claudin M. Champagne

Claudin M. Champagne, age 70, of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, he had lived in Fairless Hills for the past 29 years.He attended St. Joseph de Cluny, Cap-Haitien, Haiti and Lycee Petion, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.He married the love of his life, Marie-Eddeline, in 1973 and entered the United States in 1975. He graduated from The College of New Jersey in 1983 with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration.He was employed as a purchasing agent with Princeton University Physics Department and retired after 39 years of service in 2014. Claudin was a member of Calvary Full Gospel Church. He loved listening to music, especially French, Haitian, and Latin Music. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, and keeping up with Haitian news and politics. He was an avid New York Giants fan and also spent his time watching golf and soccer.He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Marie-Eddeline Chatelain Champagne, two daughters and sons-in-law Cassandre and Raymond Haws, Jr. of West Chester, PA and Joelle and Jamie Weiss of Drexel Hill, PA, and two grandchildren Anna Isabelle Haws and Raymond Haws III. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother-in-law, sisters- and brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, godchildren, and many friends.
