Charles A. “Chuck” Dimick, Jr., age 63 of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Willingboro, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, Chuck lived in Croydon and Morrisville before moving to Levittown over 40 years ago.
A graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1976, Chuck went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at Trenton State College, where he was a standout football player. He began working as an accountant with U.S. Steel and Hill Refrigeration. Mr. Dimick was an avid bowler, so it was a natural transition for him to become the owner of Curtis Lanes in Ewing Township, which he operated for over 25 years. He was a member of the United States Bowling Congress. Among his varied interests, he enjoyed playing his guitar, woodworking and going to the beach. He was also a passionate fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams.
Son of the late Charles A., Sr. and Virginia Dimick, he is survived by his longtime partner of over 25 years Terry VanReymersdal, two step-daughters Melanie VanReymersdal Galeas and Samantha Hink, a step-son Ronald VanReymersdal, three sisters Phyllis Dimick, Karen Farabaugh and Sandra Gallant, three grandchildren David, Dylan and Sophie and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his life celebration at 11 AM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call on Friday from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
