Carol B. Coles

Carol B. Coles, age 85, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at ManorCare of Yardley, Lower Makefield Twp., PA. Born in Belvidere, NJ, Carol also lived in Bristol PA, Germany, El Paso TX, moved back to New Jersey, then to Italy, again to NJ, Georgia, and finally settled in Morrisville 40 years ago. Mrs. Coles was a member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church. She was a volunteer, and then employed by the NJ State Museum for 15 years. Carol was also a volunteer at the Morrisville Public Library, as well as the Morrisville Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. She was also a member of the N.C.O. Wives Club. Carol loved going to concerts, enjoying the music of the 60's and 70's, her favorites being Bruce Springsteen and the Beatles. She was an avid painter and enjoyed going to Ocean Beach, NJ.Daughter of the late Henry and Hester (VanGulick) Baumann, wife of the late Robert J. Coles, mother of the late Russell and Cynthia Coles, and sister of the late Margaret "Peggy" Kornstedt, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert B. and Michelle Coles of Doylestown, PA, four grandchildren Amanda Clark, Robert Coles, Michael Coles, and Jordon Allen-Coles, two great grandchildren Knox Clark and James Coles, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Hutchinson Memorial Chapel of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Jack McAnlis will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA. Friends may call Monday morning from 10-11 AM in the church lounge.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Mrs. Coles' name, be sent to the Morrisville Presbyterian Church at the above address, The Friends of the NJ State Museum, P.O.
