Carol J. Black

Carol J. Black, born on March 10, 1933, in Trenton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in Abington, Pennsylvania, on July 20, 2026. She was ninety-three years old.

Throughout her long and fulfilling life, Carol was cherished deeply by her family and all who knew her. She is lovingly survived by her husband, James L. Black, her daughters, Lynn and Karen, and her sons-in-law, Michael Fox and Douglas Adams. Carol also leaves behind her grandchildren, Mitchell J. Fox and his wife Colleen, and Brett M. Fox and his wife Nicole. Each of them carries forward the values and warmth she brought to their lives.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, William Sine, her mother, Helen Kotz Sine, her sister, Esther L., and her brother-in-law, Joseph Multop. Their memories were a source of comfort and pride for her throughout her years.

Raised in Trenton, Carol’s life journey took her to Morrisville, Pennsylvania, where she resided for 26 years. Later, she made her home in Yardley, Pennsylvania for 38 years, before moving to Langhorne for two and a half years. Most recently, she settled in Ambler, Pennsylvania, spending her last six months surrounded by love and care.

Carol graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Hygiene and practiced in the field for many years before helping manage several dental practices owned by her employer. She later left dentistry and moved into an administrative role with International School Services, where she especially enjoyed traveling to work-related conferences around the country.

Carol was not only devoted to her family but also nurtured a number of personal passions. She took great pleasure in gardening, often tending with dedication to her plants and flowers. In the kitchen, she was a fabulous cook, delighting her family and friends with meals that reflected her attention to detail and genuine joy for sharing. Carol also had a remarkable sense of style, always a very stylish and glamorous dresser whose elegance was admired and remembered by those around her.

Carol’s legacy is marked by her devotion to her loved ones, her refined sense of beauty, and the warmth she brought into every gathering. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Graveside services and burial will be held privately at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619, at the convenience of the family.
