Carl H. Murray

Carl H. Murray, age 84 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Crestview Center in Langhorne. Born in Morrisville, PA, Carl was a lifelong Morrisville resident.Prior to his retirement, he was employed with U.S. Steel as a production Planner. He was a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, where he served as a Trustee and a member of the building committee. Carl was a Past President and founding member of the Morrisville Ambulance Squad. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and was an avid collector of watches. Mr. Murry was an animal lover, especially dogs. He was a proud Army Veteran.Son of the late Howard and Mary (Neely) Murray, and husband of the late H. Jane (Fletcher) Murray, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and Clifford Robson of Morrisville and Patricia and Dennis Savini of Langhorne, five grandchildren, Carl Robson, Meredith Wiley, and Kevin, Emily, and Bryan Savini, and 4 great grandchildren.His services and interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com).In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Carl's name be sent to the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
