Barbara Shuster

Barbara Shuster, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2026, in Princeton, NJ.

She was born in Trenton, NJ, to the late Leah Bell and Thomas Connolly. Barbara lived her life with joy and warmth, creating lasting memories with everyone she met.

For the most part, Barbara was a homemaker, but she also took on various odd jobs throughout her life. She was proud of her education, having graduated from Trenton High School. Barbara's personality shone brightly; she was a happy, friendly, and outgoing woman, often referred to as a social butterfly. She made friends wherever she went, especially at flea markets, yard sales, and auction houses. Barbara had a remarkable ability to connect with others.

Her greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Wilmer Shuster; her daughters, Barbara Hughes and Karen Shuster; her cherished grandchildren: Ariel Chalikias and her husband, Kostas, Justin Shuster, and Bryan Hughes and his wife, Amber. Barbara also had the joy of being a great grandmother to Daphne, Dominic, and Zoe who brought her immense happiness. Barbara had a close friend, Dolores, who shared in her many adventures. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her, including those who remember her kindness and support.

Services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. A celebration of life will begin in the funeral home starting at 3:30 p.m.

Family and friends are welcome to come together to honor and celebrate the life of this wonderful woman who touched so many lives with her kindness.
