Alice Irene Loch (gancarz)

Alice Irene Loch, age 73, of Ocean City, MD, formerly of Yardley, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, MD. Born in Bristol, PA, Mrs. Loch resided in Yardley for 30 years, moved to Aiken, SC for 10 years, and settled in Ocean City, MD 17 years ago.Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Loch was a school teacher at Ocean City Elementary School. She was totally devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Daughter of the late Julian and Sarah (Patterson) Gancarz, Mrs. Loch is survived by her husband William J. Loch, 2 daughters, Dana Loch (& Scott Yeager) of Waynesboro, PA and Dawn ( & husband Henry) Wilcox of Spotsylvania, VA, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law James and Eileen Gancarz of Fallsington, PA and John and Nancy Gancarz of Bristol, PA, her sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Arthur Titus of Harrington, DE, 5 grandchildren Leah Young, Dylan Yeager, David Wilcox, Laura Morris, and Robert Wilcox, 3 great grandchildren Caitlin, Madeline and Jamison, and many beloved nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
