Adelaide A Kruegel
January 17, 1921 — November 14, 2017
Adelaide A. Kruegel, age 96, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at Arden Courts of Warminster. Born in E. Prussia (Germany), she had lived in Bergen County, NJ before moving to Bucks County 20 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, Adelaide was employed as a bank teller with Peoples Trust (Bank of America) for 20 years. She later worked as a crossing guard in Oradell, NJ. Adelaide was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in New Milford, NJ, and later at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Morrisville. She was previously a member of the Rosary Society, the Columbietts, and Pocahontas. Adelaide attended the Morrisville Senior Center as well as other local senior organization, enjoying many of their activities.
Daughter of the late Anton and Anna (Bartsch) Beckmann, she is survived by a daughter Diane Wenzel of Morrisville, 2 sons Edward Kruegel of Washington State and Kenneth Kruegel of Florida, a brother and sister-in-law Gerard and Annalou Beckmann of N. Carolina, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ under the care and direction of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
