To Peter DiPietro, my grandmother Madeline DiPietro Nobile was Peter DiPietro’s sister. My Uncle Pete married Josephine, and my parents Edward and Marie DiPaola and my brother Mark and I visited your family often in Ewing. Very fond memories of them! I remember my Aunt Josephine talking about her brother. Happy that you have closure.

My family's hearts and prayers are with yours during this time of closure. My Father and his siblings lost a brother on the WeeVee at Pearl Harbor, Harold K Costill. Harold was a F1c and probably met the same fate as Angelo. Our family is also from NJ. Several of our family members have been lobbying the government since 2001 for DNA testing of unknown remains from the WeeVee to be tested for ID. Harold has 1 remaining sibling, Gene, who is 93 now. Unfortunately, we haven't received any results from the testing yet, but all of us Costill descendants and his surviving brother are encouraged by the recovery of Angelo's remains. God bless Angelo, thank you for your service and sacrifice, and God bless this moment of closure for his family.
